General usage of OdorXit AQM (Air Quality Manager) CLO2

OdorXit AQM is an easy to use, fast acting odor eliminator that uses chlorine dioxide gas either as a gas to clean and deodorize air and surfaces by oxidizing the fungus, spores, smoke and allergens that cause the odor without making the organisms more resistant. It is also very effective at removing tobacco and fire smoke odors, garbage odors, skunk spray odor as well as many other organic odors who's sources are subject to oxidization.

Despite the fact that chlorine dioxide has chlorine in its left name and smells a little like bleach, it is the oxygen in CLO2 not the chlorine that is the active component. Whether used as a gas or as a gas dissolved in water, this oxidizer is safe, works fast, leaves no residue and is complete. If the OdorXit slow release reactor packet is left in an area for the entire life of the packet (20 to 30 days if not accelerated with water) the oxidation process continues the entire time.

OdorXit AQM is supplied as a combination of powders in a specially sealed Tyvek reactor packet. When the sealed packet is exposed to water or water vapor, the contents produces pure chlorine dioxide gas. The packets are available in 10 and 25 gram slow release packages. The slow release version produces CLO2 gas for 20-30 days release versions and can be accellerated to outgas in as little a 12 houres by standing the packet in a small abount of water.

Hazardous to humans and domestic animals

Caution. DO NOT OPEN THE WHITE TYVEK REACTOR PACKET! The Tyvek reactor packet contains sodium chlorite which is a very aggressive oxidizer. The contents of the Tyvek packet (if opened) may cause moderate eye and throat irrigation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. If the reactor packet is broken or is opened, remove any leakage from skin or clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water after handling the powders. Wash contaminated clothing with detergent and water.
