Chlorine Dioxide Gas Toxicity
This report contains the collective views of an international group of experts and does not necessarily represent the decisions or the stated policy of the United Nations Environment Programme, the International Labour Organization, or the World Health Organization. It explores the use of chlorine dioxide mostly in the industrial environment at levels far in excess of 20 PPM.

The value of this report in the current setting is to show that the effects of the highest concentrations attainable with the Quick Release version of OdorXit ClO2 (10 PPM) can be moderately dangerous for long term exposure which is why we recommend in the strongest possible terms to not be in the treated area during the 24 hour treatment period. It also shows that the highest concentrations attainable with the Extended Release version of OdorXit ClO2 (.01 PMM) are not dangerous or toxic to human or animals.

This NIOSH document from the US Department of Labor talks about the safe exposure limits for CLO2.
