    Boat Odors

    Boats of all kind, and especially fishing boats are a haven for all sorts of bad odors including the old favorites fish and fish bait odors. Successfully eliminating these odors requires some specialized products and knowledge to get the job done quickly and effectively. The products needed include a good non-abrasive cleaner and OdorXit Concentrate and/or OdorXit Magic. For the bigger boats with head and bilge odor, OdorXit Blue is the right choice. Eliminating mold, mildew, spores and bacteria odor with OdorXit ClO2 is fast and easy.

    To eliminate fish and bait odors, clean and rinse the area completely, then spray or rinse the area with OdorXit Concentrated diluted 1 ounce of OdorXit to 30 ounces of water. In a few minutes, the majority of the odor will be gone, and in 24 hours (after flushing the area with fresh air), all the fish odor and the OdorXit odor will be gone. For boats the get recontaminated on a daily basis, OdorXit Magic is also a good choice. Magic can be used full strength or diluted up to 1 ounce of Magic to 10 ounces of water for dosing large areas on a daily basis.

    OdorXit Magic is a gas absorption product that will remove bad odors for 2 to 12 weeks. It is not an air freshener so don't spray it into the air in you cabin or head. Spray it on the floor or walls.

    OdorXit Blue is designed to eliminate the odor generated in black water holding tanks and the connecting hoses as well as those nasty bilge odors. Just dump 2 ounces(half the bottle) into the head and flush the toilet You can dump the other half in the bilge to eliminate the odors there too,

    OdorXit products are safe to use on all boat surfaces and are safe to use on your equipment and even your hands and cloths. They are bio-degradable, non-poluting, and non-irritating because in contains only organic, water soluble salts, oils. OdorXit will not spoil or contaminate bait boxes or tanks.

    OdorXit can also be used to eliminate mold and mildew odors, though because of the presents of water all around and under a boat and high humidity, mold and mildew odor elimination on boats is a much more temporary condition. Further, OdorXit does not remove the black mold stains on fabric and plastic upholstery, it only makes it stop smelling bad. Lloyd's Cleaners can remove mold stains from some materials, so you may what to try it on yours.
